  1. i will go and take a pic now

i need to make the front part of the wiring loom. where you have the nice connector block to the operating switch and the safety switch i have to make out of terminals.
so i need to know where each wire goes from each terminal :(

  10. i have already fitted a bn4 in the engine bay but this would be better for driving
a lot of the ba4 parts are the same https://www.type4.org/manuals/ba4/ so you might be lucky and get some from a type4

  15. Sorry mate! only just getting back into things, and been off for the last few days!
I'll definatley be able to sort out the pics bit it seems you can see what I've got under the van. There's a manual on the tinterweb somewhere that I found which basically gives you a trouble shooting guide...
@aussie bay I have a spare plug that goes into the dash switch / timer if you want it. it's still got the tails on the wires so you could solder this on to your existing loom. let me know. it seems to be fairly stuck into my switch so will work out a way of getting it loose without damaging it.

  18. Got it all set up today in garden and had a bit of trouble with the wiring as few wires had been put in wrong places and wrong colours , but a quick FaceTime call to @davidoft who actually went out to his bus and went through every wire as it's wired on his bus and yep all working (cheers buddy AGAIN just shows this site again is awesome) just gotta sort out why no signal to fuel pump but dads taxi had duties so untill next time were nearly there

  19. God a few hours on trying to find out y fuel pump had no feed ,
Found it was only getting 6/7 volts traced this back to the other set of points deep inside the combustion fan so set about stripping it and cleaned them and hey presto got 11 volts and fuel pump now works , allso checked to other smart of points was giving the spark plug signal and all seems to be working so maybe even get to prepare to install it tomoz and a full test
