Errmm... I just had to re-read it to make sure. All 4 LEDs on = 3deg 3 on = 6deg 2 on = 9deg 1on = 12deg
That's disappointing from Dometic. The CFX range do & it surely wouldn't be too much trouble for such a large organisation to give us a bit better functionality on what will probably be their best seller in this class.
I tend to chuck in the food and a couple of ice packs the night before, setting the fridge to coldest whilst still on mains at home. Once on site, I back the fridge off to save power.
Glad I read this. With my old fridge; if the beer is a bit warm, I just turn the knob down a bit! No worrying about LEDs etc Happy days
If youve got gas on board and its already fitted with a vent then i wouldnt even consider the waeco one. They are for people with new or uncut vans that dont want to cut holes in them. I gt excited about getting one of these then worked out i could have ice cold beer delivered to site by naked australian beach babes for that sort of money!
I've got a 3 way (ooooh errrrr mrs) but its never been cut for the gas. As I'm normally on a proper site I plug in anyway so happy with that. Result; thats £500 saved!
I got so sick of not knowing whether I was turning the fridge up or down and not being able to tell if the temp knob had been inadvertently moved when food goes in or out of the fridge. To check the knob position on the waeco fridge you need to shove your whole head inside the fridge, then using a torch (because your heads blocking out the light) try and focus on white lettering on a white knob. In my case I then need to get out of the fridge and go and find my reading glasses because I can't focus on letters that are 2" from my eyes. I got an old fridge thermometer with a seperate temp readout and fixed that above our fridge near the sink.
