I don't care how much my mot will be as I supply the old girl who owns the garage in food for her chickens and ducks.......................I hope it doesn't cost her too much................

 

Air cooled works Fireboy extinguisher fitted. Sleeping easier now

Put new fuses in, as putting new headlight fuses fixed a problem with lights... I'm thinking maybe new fuses will fix the petrol guage

 

Fixed the handbrake, should pass now

It's going today, there are still a couple of lssue's to sort I'm setting off in an hour it's only 2 miles away to garage . It will fail ☹️, There is another story to this which I will post tonight.

Did you hear it beep. I heard it beep. Drive past and let me hear beep again next week is how it should have gone.

 

I don't take mine to unscrupulous Tester's . It's black and white it either passed or it didn't .

One advisory. Steering coupling is deteriorating so a new one will be obtained at VW NW on Sunday

 

Applied for historic tax status, hope it goes through smoothly but not expecting it.

 

Recently got mine through for the bug. I didn't even ask them to do it. So simple.

 

I might get lucky then, I expect problems though as it was first registered in Feb '77 but built 9th Dec '76.
