TLB courier anyone?

    Hi,
    I have two items needing transport from Gloucestershire:
    1) a ratty rear bumper which, being long, is looking like costing twice it's own value to post to Manchester.
    2) a 1600 T1 block for DIY practice that's half paid for and I'd like to get it to Halifax sooner, if possible, than March otherwise @Dexter won't get to work on it!
    I don't have plans to go to any meets but I travel to North London Wednesday's and back Thursdays for the next few weeks except Feb 15th .... Anyone?

    I might be able to pick it up on one of my runs, that is why I asked whereabouts in Gloucester!

    If it was Cheltenham side of Gloucester I could have swung it, but I had a real rollicking for going off route to do this type of thing last year. Threatened with disciplinary if I carried on. Soz

    Would me getting to you on Cheltenham side make a difference then? or are the destinations way off as well?

    I work nights and pass through or by Cheltenham for a week every month. I think I am on that run in two weeks time. I was on it last week, but the next one comes around quite quickly. I will go through there at about 7.30 8oclock at night.

    Sorry guys. New job means i'm not getting on the site much these days:(

    I'm in Halifax as stated so Cheltenham or Stafford not any use really but thank you very, very much for the effort. The reason for this it the van is off the road at the moment so i'm struggling for other appropriate, engine block-in-the-boot-sized means to transport. Dubfreeze is a no chance.

    I will get down south at some point to see relatives/Lasty so it's not the end of the world.

    Mind you. If anyone wants to take up the challenge of getting Dexter's engine to me.......o_O

    I could do the 2nd or 3rd leg of its trip North...

    I regularly do M1 J15 Northampton to Sheffield

    Could probably get it to Halifax before too long

    This could turn into a challenger for the Olympic Torch Relay!
    Is there a Guinness record for most people involved in moving a 1600?!
    Dubfreeze to Northampton or Sheffield to Halifax anyone? :thinking:
    Not exactly a direct route that one ......
    I can get it to North London, so:

    North London to Northampton ... or Sheffield to Halifax??
