I use a National Trust Cottage. Comes ready set up complete with a kitchen and bathroom and WiFi. Extremely easy to set up provided you can work out how to unlock the front door and when you have finished with it you just tidy it up and leave it behind. Takes up no room at all in the bus.
We use the Glawning complete with log burner, good old fashioned Canvas with a new twist And if anyone wants one we are agents for the manufacturers so discounts available !!!
I like that, a lot! We’ve got a Kyham Motodome at the moment. Handy as my 5”1’ missus can put it up herself (not like that, you dirty perv) and it’s tall enough that I can stand up straight in most of it, I’m 6”4’.
We have an Outwell Country Road which was great until we ended up camping in a gale. While awnings all round were reduced to a flappy spiky mess, it stood up well. But the next time we used it, it was raining pretty hard inside as well. Had to re seal the seams with Stormshield and re waterproof it.
Our Glawnings take 10 minutes for one man to erect ON HIS OWN !!! Then about 4 hours of beer drinking whilst her indoors dresses the interior on her own lol
Kyam Tourer......becomes an annex if the lad decides he's not too old to go away with his Dad........normally just a sitting room/ kitchen. Quick an easy to errect.....doubt there is anything quicker.
I have a blow up one Bazza You missed a trick with the advert over the weekend Bazza. There was a big yellow baby you could have stuck your ad on
Looks like @Geordie miss read the title and got all excited as he thought it said "Which driveways do you do?"!
I have a number of awnings. A small one that is good for overnight camping to chuck the stuff in. An old JK tunnel awning that the elastic has gone so the bendy poles need taping (this may be due getting rid of) An old frame awning that came with my old Devon, easy to put up but hasn’t got curtains and a bit draughty An out well dome? Awning, easy to put up despite size and handy in poo weather. I’m off out now but will find photographic evidence later.
Saw the Glawning at VolksWeald yesterday. Its very stylish and roomy and of course with built in wood stove and roof chimney. Pricewise I think they are about 1k.
Not to mention the weight If I put all that in the back of my bay , I’d think I had power steering Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
last week in Le Mans with My Easy Silverstone .... 90f and 120f inside Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Those awnings are just covering up the fact you all need bigger campers. I am thinking of towing a bay as a runaround!
