@paradox checked the dipstick rubber boot that looks ok @snotty the oil filler tube is loose and doesn’t look right
Can you zoom in a bit closer to the tube below the filler Barry? The crinkly bit doesn't look quite right, it should be a solid steel tube with a couple of raised bits at the top, where the filler neck fits over and the snap ring holds it in place
Your engine looks superb I’ve taken the top bit off which was basically taped on but not too oily but I think it’s wrong anyway looks like a T1 filler This is the tube going down into the engine
Thanks Barry, its not so clean looking now The tube looks okay, I can see the slot & the raised bit. I think the filler itself looks incorrect, I think as you say its for a type 1. If you can source the correct filler top, you may be on to a winner. I'll be @davidoft has one in Aladdins Cave
