hey folks I don’t seem to have any trim around my windows which leaves a void at the top of the ply panels. Other vans seem to have a fitted panel around the windows - why don’t I have this and where can it get it? Is it off the shelf or does it have to be custom made? Same question for the corner bit at the rear next to the tailgate- can’t find any panels for this ? Many thanks Christian
We have the same conversion and the wood stops short of the window. The steel around the glass is ugly and little leaks spoil the look.
Tile trim possibly?? As for the rear quarter ply just bend to shape and screw if the wood is a little stiff steam over a pan of boiling water to soften!
Pretty certain someone could. There is a panel I’ve seen on some conversions that makes the inside look like it’s factory, but I can’t remember where and on what!
These have already been commissioned by @its ted see here http://www.thelatebay.com/index.php?threads/sliding-door-internal-trim-for-van-conversions.63964/ Maybe has one or two left or could put you in touch with the guys who made them?
Thats just a copy of the Devon Moonraker sliding door inner, would take quite some work to modify for side windows.
