Oh I’m well aware of that, but doesn’t matter. The NHS should insist they pay up anyway, on principle. Show them up for the Lying little squirts they are. At the very least, Johnson, Gove, Farage et al can empty their pockets as an act of good faith :D

Ha ha ha. Yep, we will.
    Want a bet?
    He’s unelectable.

  5. But a Prime Minister who loses a key vote by 230 votes but still considers herself untouchable is a better proposition?

    Laughable.

I wouldn’t vote for either of them tbh.

  7. Your lot can't help themselves- self serving bunch of extremists, ideologists and fundamentalists, but somehow in the name of Conservatism that is acceptable?

Your lot are doomed. Your going to have to face it.

    I think they’re all self serving a**holes.
Label me a Tory by all means; I’m not overly bothered what some bloke off the internet thinks!

So anyway, back to my question:
    Want a bet?

No worries. I’ll be sure to mention it when I “win” though.

  20. I don't really like a political thread ;) but.......At the last election Tories needed the ukip vote to remain in power after the coalition with the libs ended so their manfesto announced they would have a referendum on whether to leave the EU based primarily on immigration & border control... appealing to the bigots! This is the one & only time any party in the history of politics has actually delivered on one of their manifesto promises.....All this just so they could keep hold of the purse strings a moment longer thus filling their already overflowing pockets with more of the working mans hard earned!
I voted remain & make no bones about it! We had a good thing going!

The last two terms of conservative office have been appalling, the tightening of belts, food banks, services & council budgets cut to the bone including the NHS & mental health, all with the promise of cutting 'the defecit' (which is higher than it's ever been as borrowing is up)........... This has cost us, this country of ours, me, you, everyone & will continue to do so for decades to come.

It makes me sad to think that as history has shown & will show again the tories have been allowed to ***** us over once more just to line their pockets & the pockets of their friends. Before any tory voters jump down my throat just think to yourselves "what have they done for us, for the vunerable, for the weak, for the old, for the ill, for the country, for our future? What have they given back?"
Don't think too long though, in fact I'll tell you .....NOTHING ....... Not one thing! I'm glad May lost todays vote but just look at her clinging on for dear life, losing a vote by this big a margin would usually signal a Priministerial resignation.... Good old (power crazed) Theresa! Well done you!!
