I totally respect people who fish. I totally respect the weather too. I totally respect the words “Good” and “it”. Still making my mind up about the word “for”.
Its lovely weather for soaking up some sun in the peace and quiet. Fishing optional, but always thought that the people who participate are avoiding their better halves for some reason.
A country that has a close season for fish welfare then encourages anglers to kill carp I don't get it Don, someone needs to start a campaign to save Australias carp
Have done there also, at Cogden. Going off Chesil a bit, it's getting very busy, I usually end up pitching a bag of anglers litter up and each to their own, the spliff whiff gets a bit much at times. Like using a single feather with a fly rod off Whitby harbour, pound for pound they are the hardest fighting fish ever.
Chesil is busy. We have a boat chained up at the fleet at bridging camp. Not so busy over there and a lot deeper.
Last time I was there as we came over from Bridport there was a shelter near enough every fifty yards, an impressive sight. Went to the Fleet, thought get into the middle there'd be no one there. Wrong! Just the same. Do like an all nighter on Chesil, get in the shelter and Stoke up the tilly lamp, cosy.
