Hi all, Thought we would show you all our bus. My wife and I loved our bus with patina on it but I couldn't help but want to show off some original paint and thought the best way to do this is with some stripes. With all of the spare time and nice weather we have at the minute we decided to tackle the stripes. Left side is complete now so we better get cracking on the other side. It was a mission but we're so happy with the results. Here is the bus as we bought him And with the new, home done, stripes. I'll post a few more pickies when the other side is complete. Stay safe.
I've been through this thread many, many times for inspiration! At the weekend I decided to take the plunge and add some stripes to mine. Just simple vinyl and a bit of an experiment but I like how it turned out.
At the fanbloodytastic R3 garage in chessington. An early early. One of the first ten apparently. More splitty than bay. hand painted stripes.
Hmm I really like a bus with stripes, but not convinced they work on that one. I’d love stripes on Clem......
You could go really subtle and put different shades of green for the stripes, with a stripe that’s just clear coat too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is currently on ebay. Stripes look universally brilliant on buses I reckon. I think I’ll do some on mine. While the colours are great here, I don’t think the stripes going lower towards the back does it any favours. Nice bus like - bit too blingy for me.
Some interesting “stripes” This is a Trakka Bronco from back in the day. It was found again and restored for Trakka a year or two back
