It was John, we really did not know what to expect and we left in awe of the beauty. Id recommend going to anyone thinking of visiting Scotland
We said we’d miss the better weather by a week or so……but we saw Scotland in its unpredictable true self & appreciated it all the more.
There wasn’t any! Handbrake lost its effectiveness as the adjuster slackened off on the rh rear drum, horn stopped working and that’s yer lot Happy days
Well done mate it is a cracking route. I remember doing a similar route in my job back in 1979 but it was winter and I had 7 old telephone exchanges to measure for new windows across the route and boy did I discover weather and all it’s guises! Always done bits of it later as a lorry driver but you’ve given me the urge to get up there in the LT. Thanks for sharing bud and well done
Cheers Malc! It does make you realise what this country has to offer scenery wise & what beauty we have around us!
Brilliant photos and an excellent route - that should inspire some of us to follow on in your tyre tracks - well done to the bus as well.
Fantastic stuff. I think we’re planning a similar Scotland trip next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fabulous photos Mark, as usual. We had planned bits of the NC500, with Skye added in and popping to the Kelpes and Edinburgh but Coivd put paid to that. Your photos inspire us to plan it again. Sunsets always look best with a bit of cloud
