The council have repeatedly refused to allow dual carriageways there, in case residents pick up enough speed to escape the East Grinstead time warp............
Misconception adds a little banter on this forum, and Surrey is a large area with ample country club estates but with subprime estates next door to keep those affluent properties functioning. Sorry must go the house keeper and gardener have turned up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I usually refer to Merthyr Tydfil as the lowest common denominator, but it doesn't work with Penryhs. Would Porth work? I worked around Porth as a 14 year old with a weekend/evening job - door to door leaflet drops. The positives of having lots of streets of terrace houses to whizz through was often outweighed by the general feel of menace about the place, second only to delivering the old Cardiff Post free newspaper on dark winter evenings in the bedsit land of Cathedral Road......probably boutique hotels now?
Porth I will have you know has a world class refuse tip. And yes Cathedral Road has a lot of the really grotty bedsits being turned back in to these enormous houses - lots of wine bars and coffee houses with daft names too.
If possible, can we drag this thread back to planning who is attending the pub evening on the 1st March. So far I think we have so far is: @paul2590 @stirlingmoz @surreyvan @Chrisd Others who might be interested? @CollyP, @mcswiggs, @PanZer, @Lasty amlnd anybody else in the area at that time
Don’t worry your find them as they will be the ones complaining about non existent heating in there buses Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
