Off to see Peter Hook & The Light in Oct, then The Chemical Brothers in Nov anyone else got any gigs planned ?
No, but I watched the gig race, at the Isles of Scilly, early in the year, as my bro in law was in it…
No, unfortunately gig going seems to be a rare thing in my life these days. I did want to see Therapy? in November but no one I know knew who they are!!
Sadly most of who i would like to see have passed away , it now costs so much more to see a tribute band of them than it would have cost to see the actual act when they were alive.
Got tickets for Haircut 100, Level 42, De Staat, Foo Fighters and the Musical Box (early Genesis tribute band)
The Mary Wallopers, Australian Pink Floyd and although not strictly a gig - a play about Bob Marley at the theatre.
The Orb is at The Cheesy Drain, in our town in November. Probably go to that. Also, Slipmatt is here soon, too.
Got tickets to see 'Mr Big' next March in Manchester Ritz. Shame Pat Torpey is no longer with us, his drumming was a key part of a very technical yet melodic band, and yes, 'to be with you' is nothing like the majority of their music
Saw Christine and the Queens last Thursday in Manchester. I don’t really know much of her stuff. I believe she’s got a new album out and she played that in its entirety, no other songs and no encore. A lot of it sounded the same to me. It was a bit theatrical. Not for me really. The audience loved it mind.
