Oh mate, my sympathies. I for one have to admit to being in the extremely clumsy brigade for most of my life. My clumsiness in terms of percentages seems to have increased with my years in opposition to my savvy and intellect which I was kinda hoping would increase with age, I’m still waiting for the smarts to arrive. I also find that every fresh injury has a magnetic connection to anything that’ll bump it every hour or so. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, go as carefully as you possibly can bud.
Ironically, I went back to doing a few jobs today, processed a wind fallen elm into logs and reduced 2 hedges down by 3’, from resting my foot, and I ache all over more, because I’ve been sat on my arse for a week. Foot’s not bad, but I only walked about 6 miles today. Hope yours gets better soon, too. It’s hard hobbling around.
Hope you get better soon...but you reminded me of a story about a friend and his wife that may cheer you up. They go on a skiing holiday, great as they have been skiing for years, but they decide to try snowboarding. On his way up the hill on the lift, he sees his wife being wheeled into the ambulance, so he gets to the top and bombs down to see what's wrong. Next thing she knows is the ambulance is stopped and he is wheeled in as well, he forgot he was on a snowboard! So he breaks both wrists and she had broken her leg...they never would tell me how he wiped his bum!
