i went for a spin in me mates beetle yesterday with the roof down it was great fun i now want a beetle where the handbrake lever is there are two levers one either side that move up and down any ideas what they are
True. That's why you asked us, if you wanted a serious answer you'd have asked the question on a Beetle forum
What is wrong with you people? A fella asks a simple question about the most reliable car in the world and all you can do is take the *******. They are heater controls (as stated by the 2 sensible people on here) and if your heat exchangers are working correctly and even better, if they're original ones, you're gonna need them there controls otherwise you'll bake or at least get very de-hydrated. Beetles. Such fun to drive and the most reliable car ....................in the world.
bit like to fella came to me yesterday was pulling the heater controls on my beetle then says the adjusters on your seats don t work , and he drives a bay DOH
i concur they are heater controls to open or close the vents in the rear seat panel. the heat can be too much at times and driving the m1 tonight in the bay i suddenly missed my very warm bug.
I was hoping they were pseudo aeroplane throttles for dwarves in the backseat to pretend they were flying. Seems a shame now that that isn't what they are. Probably cost Germany the war that sort of oversight. Have that Hitler and your cronies...
