I like the look of these too but they are pretty big- 17" diameter and also quite wide. might be a struggle to get them on a bus.. there is also a slk wheel that is similar but 16" and narrower so might be a better fit: http://thelatebay.com/index.php?thr...els-fit-has-anyone-done-it.39463/#post-694211
There are. Big Rich from Coolair has some lovely wheel fitted to his early. Think a little out of the box. But also look at old Mercs and some Yankee stuff for ideas.
Are these the Carlton wheels I have a set of these in my garage they are stamped with BBS I want to get rid but haven't got a clue what they would be worth or what car they were originally for??
These are GSI carlton wheels. Yours are BBS wheels off a mercedes i think. Depends on the PCD. Carlton wheels are 5x110 and Mercedes will be stamped 5x112. What size are they? 14" or 15"?
They are 15 inch Zebedee Mercedes they look a lot like the standard BBS wheels i had on my E30 BMW i used to own. There is somebody selling some on E bay now that are very similar they look quite good on a Type 25. They probably would have looked a lot better on my bay if i had cleaned them up but i got some lovely wheels of chris gooner so they went to the back of the garage
Surely these are wheels for people who want to spend their life cleaning wheels. And I refer you to LJK Setrights comments on wheels like this...
I agree, I cant even bring myself to wash the sodding bus let alone the wheels hence I sprayed them black
Went from Porsche boxter alloys back to steels.much happier now. I've Still got them with the adapter plates plus Porsche spare if anyone's interested
Those nsu wheels people used to fit were nice, ljk setright @Bernard Fishtrousers , cor that goes back a bit.
