I don't want to go sounding like someone trawling after his old van tbh mate. I do sneak a look at the pictures of their buses though!
Useless info on LateBay site but maybe interesting for a Devon buff.. I have a very rare (and original) 1964 LHD Devon interior for my 64 LHD split to fit. Had no idea it was rare when I bought on ebay it as I assumed like Westfalia they made them in left and right hand drives, A guy on SSVC pointed out the rarity to me and he spoke to someone who worked at Devon back in the day and he said they made a few LHD interiors for American Service Men, would love to know how it ended up in the storage unit in Liverpool where I bought it from but obviously didn't think to ask at the time as I thought they where common as muck lol
I've never even seen @vanorak 's van ,pretty sure he doesn't have one ,turned up last techenders in a car then went for the curry to distract everyone ,plus he short changed me.
That's where you're wrong LC....I own a van....it's real....and it's a Devon! (or atleast it was when I bought it) As for the short change....how do you think i managed to afford six weeks in Mauritius, last September?
Can't see you lot lasting long in a Devon club. You have to do it though. Just for the laughs! And the fact you will be THE. late bay Devon owners club, the one and only with our own presidents, elected members etc,.
Just to add; mine's a dealer ordered '76 build Devonette and is a converted panel van....to quote my '76-7 brochure "Both the Devon Eurovette and Devonette are available on either the Volkswagen Kombi or van".
