demo queen , i used to have that cat , gave it to my old neighbour because she loved cats , my garden didnt .
Vanorak says the curve in the original ceiling reminds him if a caravan... Now every time I look at it I think of a boggin' caravan!
Are the curvy bits on the outside wall, where the roof sits down? There is a name for them, but I can't remember what it is...
You want pics of me resting???? Not done anything for ages. Too much else going on but woke up this morning with the lump hammer twitching!
I bought lots of begonias for late blooms and on the festival weekend you couldn't see em for all the stuff we had in out pop up stall! Next year the slabs will be coming up, garden dug down and a lawn with cottage borders going in... Save me some cuttings
That's almost a certainty! Need to work out how to lay a reclaimed pine t&g floor onto asphalt without having to alter the door threshold too much, plumb the washer in the cellar without an external pump and repair the split stair treads so I don't have to have carpet (I want a runner). I'm sure there's lots of other things I need advice on but those are the ones I can remember atm.
Floor can't be done Washing machine can't be done Stair can be done from underneath. Saved you 2 jobs already
Next step is to gut the back bedroom, all walls, false ceiling down and floor repaired with pipes put under as they were lazily boxed in over the boards. Once that's done the main bedroom ceiling will come down and need plastering. Meanwhile a lovely pitch pine floor will be laid throughout downstairs so it doesn't lift or twist... By the flooring pixies. Or someone who isn't a rip off 'tradesman' I seem to have a knack of finding up here. :/ Can't wait until it's just decorating to do.
