Awesome work mate, will you adopt my bus for a month or two and work some of your magic on it? Obviously you've moved from Peterborough, where are you now?
nice work on the front panel, looks great. it'll almost be a shame to get the underside dirty after all that painting youve done
Hi m8 were out at Moulton Seas End Spalding. cheers for the comments it's getting there hope to have this one on the road by end of august hope any way
Thanks it's getting therebut with the bottom painted it will be easy to clean qwick jet wash and should look like new again
Thanks Just hoping the reds not to red when it's done it's bright but the crèamy white roof and bumpers should help it
OMG what a nice day lovely and warm So thought I would do a little bit on the van and put the engine back in hopefully have it running in 2 weeks time as still got to put dash and steering column back with the wiring and see
Looking good Every time I see the lip at the bottom edge of the rear arch where it meets the rear corner I want to slice it off! It just doesn't look right, mine is the same both sides and I've contemplated chopping them and seeing this has confirmed they are for the chop! I don't know if original buses have them or if it's just part of the replacement panel, anyway mine are going the journey on Monday! Keep up the posts, your work is super smashing great.
They are ment to be there but this bus I'm trying to get on the road asp so didn't bother with them and yes look better with out them cheers for the reply
I'm sure you've thought of it, but don't forget to block up the air intakes when you paint the top half.
I will stuff something up the vents from in the engine bay.but I have some window frame's to repair first but get it mot ed and on the road first I hope but thanks
Started on the steering column an bits found the bottom mount was rotten so fixed that just got to rub down bits a paint is there suppose to be a bearing in the bottom of the column ????
