I've owned this bus for 5 years during which time it's had to start with, new inner and outer sills, outriggers, front arches, one rear 1/4 , battery tray, door bottoms, slider bottom inner and outer.
After the original 1600 gave up on the way back from Dent I converted it to a 2.0ltr type4 , which runs beautifully with new exhaust , std twin solex set up , electronic ignition and regular maintenance.
The heaters work as they should.
Last week I fitted new tank filler rubbers and breathers.
For the MOT in June it had new rear doughnuts and brake pipes.
    It stands at normal height.
It's got Porsche tombstone seats in the cab which I've matched with new vinyl throughout, the cab has had new Madmatz carpets and altro flooring in the back.
Over last winter the bus was fully stripped and repainted inside and out in Savannah B e i ge with white roof, then refitted with full set of quality rubbers from Schofields.
In the back it has the original Devon poptop and canvas, new headlining in the cab.
I've copied the Devon layout in ply to replace the original chipboard weetabix. I like the set up, it's spacious, I've laminated the tops in a nice bright green which I think Devon would approve of !
The 3/4 r&r bed is reupholstered with new foam and material.
New curtains from the camper curtain co.
It's got the swing out cooker and original sink which I've never used but it's there.
I'm leaving an electric cool box and a hook up cable with pcb and 2 sockets, a drive away awning and there is an original hammock which I've not refitted but included.
It's a straight solid bus which has taken us from its Cheshire home to Cornwall , Scotland , lakes, Yorkshire Dales Skeggy ,Rutland & Wales.
I've got a single cab pickup now which suits my needs better at this time so the camper has to go.
    I'd like £13,995 ono
It resides near Macclesfield in Cheshire

Just had text to say it's home with its new owner, he'd never driven one before! & his 5year old daughter has been playing in it for an hour

  9. OMG didn't realise you'd sold it! What's next then? Are you getting another or just sticking to the pick-up?

  11. Can't believe this went for under 14k. This must be worth more than 17k. The sliding door is straight for a start!
