Music based festival with a camper theme.
More and better music than other Vw shows. Set in the grounds of Ragley Hall 20 miles south of Birmingham.

Thinking of going to this one with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend - possibly a couple of other friends in the T4 Collorados too.

    Anyone else interested?

Looks good only about a 40 min drive from us. Our kiddies love it there. We could well be there

  3. went last year ,not going again .due to the music from the main stage over powering everything else .15 mins walk to toilets and a general lack of things to do . Ragley hall Is a fantastic setting and you get to go around the house / cafe .But for the rest of it think camperjam on a budget

  4. Went last year and it was brilliant much better than the usual shows and lots for the kids to do. More music fest than vdub and they have an extra day this year so we have booked again. Great setting looking forward to it!

I wasn't there, but possibly in their defence it was the first year. It definitely is more music festival than VW Camper show so I wouldn't be surprised about the music taking over.

Looks like a good lineup, especially for our generation: Lightning Seeds, Cast & Reef are the headliners. I normally go to the V-fest at Weston park (for free I might add) but V has become a Pop Festival and not to my taste - even for free! I think tickets for V are £180 for a comparison.

  6. fair point I went to V in 2005 and 2007 and it was ok then but its a proper commercial event now (aren't they all) Once we get into our 40's we can then be tourists in our own youth! ;) so this event looks good to me, looking forward to seeing Cast and John Power and I'm fairly sure that the organisers have taken on board some of last years criticism, which apart from the Cider running out on Saturday was ok to me..

We will be there for the first time and it will be my first time at a music festival so it's going to be a big learning curve for me. The 15yrr old daughter has been looking in the archives watching videos of the named bands and initially wasn't interested, but when I said her boyfriend could come along she soon came round to going.....the 11yr old just wants to stay at home with his X-Box though....... roll on 7yrs so I can go away without the kids in tow.

I removed some of my van's interior and decided to modify it. I just hope I get it rebuilt in time [IMG]
