These are my shock relocation brackets to make air shocks run straight and gives more lift should get about 5 inches of travel

FFS Simon that's a great job you're doing on Daisy, a ridiculous amount of work! Can't wait to see it in action at Techenders.

  10. Beam back in all 4 corners now on air happy with the font height had to mod the beam to get better lift will finish it when I remove beam to plate chassis
    [IMG][IMG]
Decent ride height still front can’t go down more than rear but be close as beam will hit floor
Still a lot of work to do
All cables clutch exelerator ect all re routed and gear linkage bent up over the beam (this took ages ) bit stiffer gears but will play with that after Iv driven it only front rod

  11. Front mock up done steering arm notch done should go 2” lower than this photo is room on shocks steering arms was stopping it allso started making notch plates ready to weld in early start in morning

  12. Welded all notches up then made my bean and adjustable air beam 1 bolt moves shock mount , so I can set my ride height depending on load ect as the rear bags have way more travel and it’s nice to have a choice

  13. Do you still have some torsion springs or is all the weight on your welded spigots and single bolt ?

  14. Air shocks lift off the spigot and bolt that’s how they work gonna get some good bolts I have left the springs so at the bottom it falls into the springs

Great work ! Looks like its going well.

Do you have to run a lot more pressure in the front air shocks than with the rear bags because the bags have a bigger area ? If the shocks have a piston area of say 10 square cm then to lift 100 kg you need about 10 bar. I know you dont need all the force because you still have springs...

At the back with the bigger area of bags, the same pressure might lift 500kg or do damage with 50 square centimetres..

Maybe need a pressure regulator on the bags to avoid rapid unintended disassembly, to quote Elon Musk..

And maybe that is why I have seen one front beam where the torsion springs were lifted by airbags like the rear, effectively turning the lowering adjuster .

  16. Yes Iv got the rear torsion bars wound up to just off floor bags takes 2.2tons take about 140psi to nice ride height and the front is less but there all on individual air paddle switches and x2 duel air guages as 1 side will need more air as all cupboards full of carling ect so can set up custom to suit allso front leaves will b on top tube constantly and Iv re inforced spigots as much as possible threads welded inside bean front and back allso
