Geordie you have so much to learn about the Lassen Transporter mate. I met the karman worldwide designers son in Scotland last year and he so loved my woodlander. We swapped emails for a while. He works at karman as the official vw museum’s restorer man. I thought I knew about LT’s/dubs but this guy was mr knowledge. I’ve lost contact with him now unfortunately.
@Poptop2 how could you loose contact with him! That would be my dream job a designer for karmann. or more likely a tea maker
I’m sure I can recover his email address, but I meant I haven’t really spoken to him for a while and had no reason to. His name was Karl and he invited me over to stay. I haven’t taken up his offer Yet!
@crossy2112 I'll have you now i'm calm and wearing my smoking jacket with a crevasses shirt with orange bow tie!
Honestly i want something because i like it not because its cool, to me its more then that, i see space lots of it its not whats outside its what's inside that important to me. just like people Yeah
Brilliant! I’m a convert too. Bloody fantastic vehicles! I’ve still got my bay but it feels tiny in comparison! I’ve a 1994 Florida with the ACL engine. 2.4 turbo with an intercooler. My 1584 bay is faster Be prepared to have a fair amount of searching to do for spares. Brickwerks are excellent. Join the LT groups on FB (Volt). https://www.facebook.com/groups/voltowners/?ref=share https://www.facebook.com/groups/voltswapmeet/?ref=share Oh...and use this; https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/ search for the parts you need and then search online by part number. Enjoy!
Hiya Geord, I used to bump into some LTclubs down at Plymfest (Plymouth) and a few other down south shows and they seemed to be the self imposed pariahs every time I saw them with their wagons circled or so it seemed. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, I loves em
