Bought this in error, fits bays but only up to 75 (mine's 78). I got this off ebay from a guy who'd paid for a professional refubishment. He showed (gave?) me the paperwork showing he's paid 75-ish quid for a proper refurb. Of course i have no idea now where this is so you'll have to take my word for it. I paid the guy £110 from memory. I'll take £80 quid for it give that i can't 100% confirm its history. It's an original bosch unit as you can see from the pics. Hi @rob.e . I don't know part number on mine. Are they same for type 1 and type 4 engines? I have type 1. Assuming it is I am interested in this please if it is not too expensive to post. Would you be able to find out cost to CR5 please. Cheers Gary
if you google the part number it comes up as fitting beetle, ghia, bus -75, type 3 etc so yes should be fine on a type 1. i'll get a shipping price for you tomrrow.
