  1. For Sale – My 1974 RHD Devon Moonraker Campervan (Peaches)
Peaches is in excellent overall condition and is ready to set off on your camping adventures, tax exempt and has 7 months MOT .

The van was professionally restored by the previous owner who unfortunately couldn’t complete it due to ill health.
When we purchased the van the metalwork had been fully restored to A1 condition receiving a full re spray in peaches and cream, 3 years ago.
Once painted Peaches was treated to a complete new set of Alan Schofield’s window and door seals along with all door handle gaskets etc. 2new door mirrors were added to complete the clean finish.
The interior consists of 2 cab seats, new full width Rock ‘n’ Roll bed and a full length roof bed, new buddy seat and cupboard set, along with a complete set of new door cards.

Inside was then professionally re-trimmed by 'Trim Jim' in a combination of moonstone and mushroom vinyl. At this time the dash was painted in cream and the glove box hydro dipped in a skull design.
Trim Jim also installed a new headliner to the rear ¾ of the bus and full Gliss track should you want to add your own curtains. The cab headliner is still original.

The flooring was all renewed with Mad Matz cab mats and wheel tub mats. The cargo floor has newly fitted black and white chequered vinyl.

We have added a new pioneer head unit with 4 new speakers, which are connected to the leisure circuit, and two 12v sockets on the dash .

The roof bed sleeps two and the R and R bed sleeps a further two people.

The full length roof still has its original vinyl and has had new gas roof struts fitted.
    …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Mechanically in the last year the van has had a complete new braking system from master cylinder to every clip, pin and spring.
The previous owner fully reconditioned the engine and we have added all new ancillary parts: carb, SVA distributor and alternator conversion. A new starter motor, clutch cable and conduit have also been fitted. Whilst the engine was being rebuilt the tin-ware was cleaned and re painted in black.
When the engine was installed all new fuel lines and filters were fitted.
Peaches has had a mild lower to give her some cool with the use of a beam adjuster and has 4 good tyres with new hub caps.
Peaches is a great van and drives superbly!

Am I being blind or did I miss the price? And where it might be located?

  5. Also, when did you purchase the van and perhaps a few pics of that fully restored underbody would be useful.
