  1. VW 1975 T2, 2 litre engine, excellent overall condition, tax exempt, ‘rock ‘n roll’ seat/bed, fully equipped, left hand drive, 35,000 km

Everything is really well set-up for camping with a host of useful features installed. The van has been maintained to a very high standard, drives really well, looks great and is immediately ready to go for its next adventure!

The van is originally from Austria and so is a left-hand drive. It was re-sprayed just before we bought it (six years ago) in classic VW orange. She drives really well and the bodywork is good overall condition (especially in those frequent infamous poor areas such as the door sills). Whenever work or attention has been required its been completed (there is a bunch of paperwork included). A range of service history and previous MOT certificates are available which date back to 2009 and show how well this vehicle has been maintained.

Since purchasing in 2013 we have invested in the van to set it up for camping adventures. Much of this was carried out by a VW specialist company (VW camper-reborn in Rongwood)

    The following was installed:
    • New kitchen unit fitted with double gas stove, sink, water tap and drainage
    • Leisure battery with USB/twin socket (mounted by the rear seat)
    • Recently fitted Westphalia style storage areas seamlessly fitted into the van
    • Fitted curtains for creating a cosy sleeping environment
    • Electric cool box
    • Pop up table
    • Sony SP3 WMA (removable for security) sound system and 2 x door and 2 x rear FLI Integrator speakers
    Other extras include:
    • New winter cover
    • Large awning, makes a fun extension when setting up in a campsite (only used once)
    • Steering wheel security lock
    • Fitted bed sheets (in orange of course)

On the down side there a few minor rust patches appearing but nothing of any great consequence. A small zip in the roof cover does not fully work. Any of the small imperfections are commensurate with a vehicle of his age.

Very recently, to prep the van for ‘moving on’ we have had everything checked over to get her in top shape and immediately ready for some summer fun. This has included:
    • Exhaust renovation
    • Full checks on engine, doors and all operating features
    • Full valet clean

The vehicle is tax exempt and has a new MOT from 25/04/18. Under new Department of Transport rules, being over 40 years old, the vehicle will never need to be retested.

Please feel free to get in touch with any further questions or arrange a test ride. Van is based in Chirstchurch Dorset. Give us a ring on 07771557326.
