  11. image.jpg I'm waiting for the wether to get warmer so I can finish of the ceiling, i'm trying something little bit different I've put teak wood on the ceiling. It took a long time to bend and shape the wood to fit , but it went well.
The next job is to caulk it white any tips...?

  12. Unless you get condensation which would stain it, I'd leave it alone. I think it looks great as is.

the roof looks great and your skill is good on the body but i'm not a fan of the look of the front panel.

  14. Love the bus mate, exterior is something else - have to say the roof / teak isn't to my taste but it's all about individuality.
Overall a stunning bus, well done, excellent work.

Takes all sorts, I don't like the smoothed exterior I've seen too many fall apart a few years later... but I do like the roof slats. Looks like they could have done with thinning at the ends to fit in better, but what a mammoth job that would be to get it right!

  16. Don't get me wrong Zed, I'm not detracting from the work involved, just saying it's not my cup of tea!
I like the clean lines of HerMan, uncluttered and it might reach 60-65 mph because it's so smooth!

  17. Thank you for all your comments .
It's Not everybody's cup of tea. The ceiling is not finished yet, still need to put the White rubber in between the teak and then varnish about 20 times. Condensation is minimal I have a humidifier which is not battery operated or 240 Volts I use theses tablets from Morrison's woks well....

Herman has got a 2 litre engine so she can Cruise nicely....

I just thought it funny that we were attracted to opposite apsects of this one. :) It does take all sorts and I meant that positively, it's part of the attraction and what makes for some variety in what could be a very boring row of lowered OG spec beige Westys.

  19. Don't start on the beige - it's a light brown and we don't want Ricky to get all unnecessary over the brown / beige issue

  20. Get to see lots of bush , yes it is a little odd, making people look smooth but I am the Guru of the back crack and sack I'm the one who invented the word I'm sorry to say.
I used to be a body builder car body builder car painter , when my wife suggested that we should get a campervan I was a little bit nervous as I would want to make the campervan the way I would want it to look ,a lot of my spare time would be in the garage. (Wife not too happy now spending too much time in the garage)
In my early days i used to buy Lambrettas and customise them.
