  1. Trying to help my buddy in Osnabruck out...he needs a steering idler arm, part no 214415741D.
These guys have them but the price is a little 'enthusiastic'....

I'm heading over there in December so can take it over for him....
Anybody got one knocking around they would be willing to part with...? Cash waiting!!
    Thanks in advance,
    Andy.

Does he want a RHD or LHD one ? As he’s in Germany?

  7. The quoted part number 214 415 741 D at the start of the thread denotes that it is RHD

  11. Thanks for those 77Westy . Have emailed southwest to see if the one they have is cheaper!!!

  12. I've got one from a south African beam, that I think is spare. Will have a look later if you are still in need?
Do they wear out? wondering how your mate is missing one

    I've got one.
No photo as I was too *annoyed with myself for dropping an oily idler pin onto a mint Porsche seat, to bother taking one.
I'm away for a week as of today, but if the timing fits I'm sure we can sort something when I get back.

  14. Just compare Custom and Commercials price, with Schofields . What a rip off C and C are.

  15. Thanks for all the feedback chaps!
Ordered one from Schofields for a very reasonable £34.
Southwest VW however, wanted £92....go figure?
Illzlee....I have no idea why Dirk needs this part....but if I get chance for another wander around his garage I will take some pics...He has a pokey little flat, but his garage has a mezzanine deck and all the engineering kit!
