They’re forever changing the bloody job name! It makes some sense as I don’t do much coding anymore, just design the stuff. Reckon I’ll stick to “software documentation writerer”

Much more in favour of traditional job titles... although mine was rather spoilt when they put “senior” in front of it!

No, your two examples have jobs, solution architects play an important role in ensuring that the solution architecture aligns with the roadmaps established by the enterprise architecture, and that it adheres to the enterprise architecture principles. Solution architects are both a consumer and contributor to enterprise architecture collateral. Often, the patterns and guidance solution architects develop becomes reusable in a broader enterprise architecture context.

I forgot to ask, where did you attach the leisure battery earthing point?

I’ve put mine on the little upstand lip around the inside of the n/s wheel arch so that there isn’t a new hole going through to the elements.

That said, my battery is arranged positive to the rear so this works. I’ve seen it with positive to the front with the earthing going to the engine lid pillar

Finally got some proper strip lights installed down the workshop so I can see what I’m doing!

Inner repairs made up and fitted to rear hatch, epoxied and then outer repair panel fitted. Just a few pinholes to weld up and one further repair to the aperture.

  9. I miss the pics of you and your lass having dinner in the van and her doing her bit
Showing to me that it’s a team dream

This is some of the best resto workmanship
Ive seen on a dub forum and it’s to a
Better standard than most dub experts I’ve come across.

But bring the back story dude

Extremely humbling words mate, it’s really nice to know my work cuts the mustard.

Even though Max isn’t down the workshop as much as she used to it is still very much a team dream (doubt I could carry on doing it some days without the thought of us one day driving this down some empty Scottish pass). She’s always there to make sure I actually eat a decent meal when I get in at silly o clock, or just someone to talk to in bed when I’ve had a day of self doubt on the van (which seems to happen quite a lot, think I’m too harsh on myself).

Think she’s coming down Sunday to help me start prepping the engine bay so I’ll be sure to get some pics of her.

    @paradox possibly a question you
Might be able to advise on. I’m planning on dipping all of the mounting bolts from suspension etc in my detox C rust treatment bath. I know you did similar with an acid bath. How did you treat the bolts once you’d removed the rust? I’ll be copper slipping when installing but should I apply something to the bare metal bolts?

Quite possibly. Wanted to reuse the old bolts if possible though.

  14. That's what I meant, get them plated. Take a big bucket of rusty bolts to the platers and get back a bucket of rust free shiny bolts, simples.

  19. The heads of the bolts were etched primed and painted
The rest of the bolt I brushed with clear wax
    I used coppaslip when fitting

A lot of bolts I ended up replacing with new.

You would be best getting them dipped and plated as Paul suggested
