I'm still clean folks.. Could have done with a tipple but stayed strong... Had some absinth in my mouth for fire breathing entertainment value but I didn't swallow
24th of January, so that’s 24 days I haven’t stopped drinking, I feel much better for it, no stress my skin looks lovely especially my face when I get rat arsed it goes a lovely shade of purple
I’m not really a big drinker anyway but I have managed to get this far through the month without any drink so I will make the month it does make a difference with weight though.
I could do with a drink tonight, stressful week at work with the dreaded Ofsted visiting. Luckily, they only came for a day! Making do with orange squash & Maltesers. Park Run with the kids again in the morning. Hopefully, more running will be involved this week. 6 days to go!

No always been sarf , I used to fly fish bewl too . I didn’t realise that was a lamberhurst oast , lots rund this way.
I've been dry all month - berlummin' hard work. Can anyone explain how you can easily put away 4 pints in the pub within a couple of hours, and yet drinking 4 pints of water over the course of a whole day takes so much more effort and resolve? Newbie here btw - be gentle with me !
Dry January Burns Night was an interesting experience ... I actually didn't miss drinking that much and this morning I feel so much better than everyone else looked. The worst part was drinking the bottle of stuff in the picture ... absolutely disgusting I feel nauseous just thinking about it ... I thought it was beer but apparently it's a refreshing isotonic drink with folic acid and added vitamins. I wont be buying it again.
May be 'cos one you need against one you like. Unless you drink Carling then its 99% water so killing 2 birds and all that
