Can anyone please identify this carb as I need to buy a gasket set and clean up the carb.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Thanks that's v. Helpful.

How is the job of cleaning the carb and fitting new gaskets...?

Simple, no special tools required, just take your time. There will probably be a YouTube ‘how to’ once you know what carb you have.

Its a Weber progressive. Go out and buy some gasket paper on eBay, and make gaskets. Use thinnish paper for the top cover and a thicker paper under the carb.
Its about £2.99 for enough paper to make a progressive gasket set about 6 to 8 times over.
Just remember to block the holes that need blocking and unblock the holes that need flow. Use a ball pein hammer to tap the paper against the carb casting either cutting it or marking it.

  7. Its a Weber 32/36 DFEV and service kits are readily available from the likes of Eurocarb. If you are taking it apart to clean it, its worth replacing the O rings, needle valve and diaphram as well as the gaskets, and these come in a service kit
