I have notice that on quite a few occasions when I check in the engine bay the crank pully has stopped cock on 7.5 degrees.
Its that white paint spot starring me in the face every time I open that lid. I was at a show and the judge asked to look in the engine bay, he said "Thats attention to detail, putting it at TDC with the paint stripe at the top" thats when I started to notice it.
Reminds me of the two moths buzzing round a 'hot' light bulb, "Don't look at the light!" dzzzz "I can't help it!" dzzzzz
It’s bad news I’m afraid. Your engine has a tight spot and as it spins down it naturally stops on this spot. It likely to explode soon. To be honest the only sensible way to fix it is to go Subaru.
I keep forgetting this forum is basically full of middle upper age white blokes from England.... OPP.
