Thank you, I would have liked to keep the plate but just too risky up here, was thinking about selling it but not sure if its possible to sell an original plate, have checked on tinterweb, some say yes others say no, will have to phone DVLA.
Thanks for the info, thinking I will need sliding windows in rear as I like a cool breeze at night time, it does look like an original roof judging by the condition. Just starting out in the t2 scene and already learned loads from these forums, in this day and age when people don't hold doors open or let you out in traffic etc its a breath of fresh air to know there are still people out there who are willing to help.
I do have some but no more of the window and inside is stripped out, the window was slightly open when I took the photo, maybe adding to hacked about affect.
Hi. I have a 1973 Devon and it has a little foil sticker behind the passenger seat saying Devon Conversions. Any chance you have one? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Will have a look. It is covered in vinyl just now and I'm offshore at present but will check when home
I had 3 stickers on my dash when I bought my bay, I removed two of them before I realised what they were which left me with just a Devon conversions sticker, the same as the one above the ashtray in a previous pic. Mind you, when I sold it the dash had a new ornement on it. A Vanfest Big Split Display plaque.
I don't believe it!! They sell repro Devon cupboard handles. I've been searching for these for years!
That will definately be a help i managed to get the plans for original interior and will be looking for handles etc. Thanks
Judging by your model year & description of the interior, I'd say you've got a '73 or '74 Devon Caravette. http://thelatebay.com/index.php?threads/1973-devon-caravette-daisy.42542/ I've got the same interior at the moment (the link above is not my bus, someone else's). Took me six months to figure out you can stash the table in the gap between the middle seat and sidewall, and the middle seat frame slots into the rails under the top cupboard above the engine. So you're either much smarter than I am, or you'll find that handy.
