F3 crash today

    Amazing that. Wonder how it happened? on board footage will be interesting.

    Saw this earlier and amazed no one was killed... the thing she hit was pretty static.

    There was a horrible angle from one of the buildings opposite showed it very clearly. I do wonder where she lost control cos her closing speed was immense.

    Testament to the safety improvements in modern racing to some extent. I guess that there will be a review of the halo again on the car she vaulted as that looked close to his head (even to say how wonderful it is)

    I think F1 have also done a lot of work on preventing cars from becoming airborne as well. I bet the FIA will look carefully at the use or design of temporary kerbs after this.
