Discussion in 'Non Late Bay Classifieds' started by Robo, Aug 28, 2017.

  1. We have had this about 5 years & used it 3/4 times a year for the first 3 years, it's been stored in our garage unused now for 2 years as we prefer to travel light these days.

Just put it up in the garden to see how it's looking & take some pics

We are south Leicester LE8 for collection / viewing & happy to take techenders in a few weeks if a deposit is paid in advance

This cost us £599 and are selling for £350 when they come available which isn't very often

We are only asking £250 as it is in used condition & I shall add a few more pics and description in my next post.

It will be packed away later so if you have any questions or want any specific photos then please either private message or ask on here today

  2. The awning comes in a big bag & has a separate bag with some poles in, it originally all went in the big bag but I've never managed to put it all back

Basically you pull the main part out which is held together with two straps one attached to the legs and the other is loose, unclip these and pull the awning out & peg down the 4 corners

There are 4 corner roof poles that extend and clip into place and you straighten the hinged legs so they lock in place

Then step inside & push the middle up so its pops up

This is the inner sealed section which according to JK is waterproof and can be used like a gazebo, we have never used it like this tho so can't comment

There are 6 pegs in total & the ground sheet is fully sewn into this main bit.

I've had a check round and there is a bit of mildew and a little dirty in places from it being packed away damp, we have had a couple of holes in the ground sheet but sealed these with gaffer tape

Seems a short section of the window has come away from the stitching on the door

Now for the outer fly sheet, just remember the JK logos need to be on the front & not the side the van will be connected too I've done this & then had to turn the whole thing round

  3. The outer flysheet can easily pulled over the frame with 2 people or 1 with a bit more effort, the 4 corners clip in place

I did notice one of the clips is broken but still clips in & holds fine

There's also Velcro which attaches the flysheet at the top & mid way down the corner legs

To the front there's a canopy which requires a 3 section pole feeding through which I do the middle attached to a bent bit then feed the other bent bit from other end and clip together, there's then 2 straights which slot in and the spikes go into some holes which give it the tension

  4. Internal floor dimensions 3.6m wide x 2.5m deep

Front has 2 doors with panels which unzip & reveal the window & vent / fly mesh

The sides also have zip open window panels with vent mesh or you can unzip the complete side.

There's also some roof vents a divider to create two areas if required a hook to hang stuff from and a handle used to pull the roof back down when packing away
