I have a 1200 bug 73 since 15years old in bad condition and bay bus 76 since 6years old. The bus is our dream car with my wife. The restoration is in the end. The bus is in new condition. Welding in winter and painted in spring. The other parts have been done one after another over the time . All things are homemade, just the painting and fronts seats are done by à professionals Slammed front and rear. 4 Wheels fusch 2in 17"X 7 and 2 in 17"X weld at 5,5". Inside is camper, fridge compression ,cooking plate , battery auxiliary agm... The engine is subaru conversion With h6 3.0, gearbox impreza wrx with kit subarugears 3.9, lightened flywheel 5,5kg clutch stage 2. Bellypan radiator scoop with 2 fans and steinless hose . Six year of work to get slowly, and ride the summer. All works well. I'll tell you if you are interested. In France the forums are dead all pass by Facebook ... I hate that .
