  1. She's developed a rattly clucking over bumps yesterday. Tried giving everything a good shake to see I anything loose but all seems ok. Tyre pressures were a bit low but otherwise can't find anything. Any ideas...?
73 with disc fronts adjusters on beam (which I don't like ) but otherwise stock...
Will check again after drive back from Anglesey to Cheshire..

  2. Lower ball joints. Just did them this week . Peel the boot off and Put a pry bar under the lowere one . In different angles ,Find someone who presses them in before you do it .! Enjoy the fun,.

Ball joints also makes the steering wander a bit on bumps.

Front brake pads rattle around when the springs fall off. They are a bit higher pitched clunks than the ball joints.

Shock absorber mounts, take a look at them, they can look ok but still rattle a bit.

  10. Check that the 4 bolts on each side of the Front beam aren’t loose, I had this a while back and they were all loose! Every time I went over a bump it use to make a racket

  11. FYI...
Disc caliper bolts loose!..the two big 19mm ones...... easy fix at least

. How much should the pads rub on the disc....is a little light grazing ok.. barely enough to knock the rust spots off?
