I’m fitting headlights and grill to a new front panel and the holes don’t quite line up is this normal.

IPG panel? I think mine lined up ok but the headlights were a very tight fit and I had to slightly bend the light chrome surround to get it over the headlight bowl.

With the grill you should have a fair bit of wiggle room with the spire clips to line them up with the holes in the grill.

    Any pics?

just realised that looking at the photo (feeling rather stupid now)

  7. Feel no shame ;) Re headlights - I think I had to have some of the mounting tabs repositioned. Or maybe not. Can't remember.

Mine are the earlier style headlights so not sure on yours.

  9. Thinking back, my lights were late Bosch jobs and went straight in. Maybe the Brazzy front panels are tabbed for the later units.

  10. Don't worry. Wait till you put the front calipers on wrong way round then spend 4 days trying to bleed system!

  12. I hope you have the original bumper. I had a bit of a mare after fitting new deformation panel and finding the fixing holes are completely different for original bumper. Much drilling and welding in of captive nuts after painting was not fun! Spoke to Air cooled about it and they were unaware of changes till I whinged. o_O

The new panels are Brazilian fitting the Brazilian front bumper. So the holes are correct in Brazil.
