Hi from Chesterfield

Just thought I'd introduce myself ....

Back in to VW's after probably a 20 year break - had quite a few early 60's beetles and a couple of T2's and have just sold a 59 Beetle as it made my mind up that another van was the way to go !

So ... I've placed a wanted add for an original paint rust free LHD tin top and am searching all the usual places

No doubt I'll be back with pre and post purchase questions as the "scene" seems much changed over the last couple of decades ! Perhaps even more of a minefield than I ever remembered

Bonjour ,I think buses are better ,less filler,expanding foam etc ,but still be careful...

Quite a few tin tops about at the minute and some of 'em seem look good. Mainly rust free imports tho.

Just got a cracking bus from Busfest ... beautiful underneath and no rot on the exterior - just nicely worn ... blank canvas inside
