  1. I am an oap myself and live in a close with other elderly neighbours and we look out for ourselves and yes we have had our share of thefts and vandalism and I was a victim of threats and abuse back in the summer from one of those ex cons from Newcastle who tried to nick stuff from my garage while I was in there working on the mgb.

  2. possibly - but again no good without an outside light as they'll know it's rubbish. she doesn't even want an outside light but think i could manage to convince her if it was discreet and in keeping. maybe - then again, i've never been able to convince her of anything, nor win an argument

but if i rigged a light at mine that also 'caught' her front yard.... ;)

  3. i'm fine Mr. R, it's not nice to see her in distress but a morning of clearing up, tidying her garden and lots of chatter and laughter has helped us both x
i'm very protective of those i care about but the most important thing is that she feels safe and that she has people to count on.

I was gutted because i'd had my eye on that dolly tub! ;):D
