Although I've fitted my lovely new worcester theoretically I still have my old one as I've not been bothered to take it, or the cylinder etc out :)

The back boiler was obsolete in I believe 1982 so it's at least that old :)

They don't make them like they used to!

It looked well old when I got here 25 years ago, it looks older style than one my dad installed in 1968. I'll go down to the cellars tomorrow and see what it is, then perhaps JD can tell me.
Not had it serviced yet, I probably should have got round to that.

  18. Mine was a combi and lasted about 14 years before we replaced it last year

  19. Boiler is what we call our wimmin round these parts so I couldn't possibly say.

  20. Ours was put in around 1994, so 20 years. He's showing increasing signs of dementia, so time for a change. Farewell, Potterton Profile 80e...you served us well...

I'd doubt the new one will last that long.
