How old is your boiler

just a little survey to see which member has the oldest boiler

 

Not be me, I fitted myself a new one in late October

 

my old boiler wouldnt like me to say ,how very rude to ask

 

We are on about central heating boilers not our other halves aren't we

 

Gas boilers not gas bags

 

Mine is 10 years younger than me.

 

My mother is 70.

 

shes better behaived in young mens company i can assure you

 

30 plus years, oil fired

 

4 days ....last one probably 30ish

 

All I'll say is high teens older than I.

 

a couple of months old the previous one had been in the house for around 28 years

 

Our gas boiler is 29 yrs and been in the house since it was built which is quite amazing as everything else used on the build was the cheapest possible

 

It looked well old when I got here 25 years ago, it looks older style than one my dad installed in 1968. I'll go down to the cellars tomorrow and see what it is, then perhaps JD can tell me.
Not had it serviced yet, I probably should have got round to that.

 

Mine was a combi and lasted about 14 years before we replaced it last year

 

Boiler is what we call our wimmin round these parts so I couldn't possibly say.

 

Ours was put in around 1994, so 20 years. He's showing increasing signs of dementia, so time for a change. Farewell, Potterton Profile 80e...you served us well...

I'd doubt the new one will last that long.
