  1. Hello everyone I'm Shane from Sheffield

This is my first ever camper van, I spent a bit of time looking for one that didn't need loads

Rather than wasting my money on a basket case or remortgaging for a minter I waited to pounce like a coiled viper

I know my way round a car okay but might have bit off more than I can chew

It has no interior except a bed frame and sink/cooker

Needs a small amount of welding to floor and window rubbers all round

I'm happy with the condition seller said it was in and the pictures the put online undersold it in my opinion

I have done a few things already, new fuel, plugs, leads, battery, ignition wiring, fuel lines, air filter, fuel filter etc etc she now runs sweet

  14. Thanx for the warm welcome, it's way too warm to do anything like welding ATM...

I just enjoy looking out my window at it

I got lots of plans, main thing is the interior

Originally it was a Devon interior like this

I want to recreate it but all I have is sink and cooker... Without templates or measurements I don't know where to start.

My woodworking skills are okay I made a Birdbox in woodwork at school so can't be that hard

Welcome ...Well judging from the steepness of your drive ...you have an efficient handbrake

  17. If it were me, I would take it for MOT and see what turns up. With a pass you could tax it and get it back on the road. If it fails, then you know what work is the priority.

Has the van been used or laid up for a while, bear in mind that not using the vehicle is bad for the mechanicals.

You have a sort of blank canvas for the interior and as its empty inside, that's a benefit as you can see what's needed to repair before you fit your chosen new interior. and the interior should be a lesser priority.

  18. Hi, looks a nice bus, I have recently purchased my first bus and although it’s buring my I love it.

  19. Yes handbrake is good :)

I can see some obvious stuff that would fail mot so will do it when I have been through the bus with my tooth comb

She is never going to be a minter but that's not what I want

I'm going to get interior and welding etc sorted and use all next year for weekends away etc
