Knocking noise from engine

There’s a really odd knocking sound from the engine which is very worrying - i can’t seem to upload the audio file I have recorded on my phone - is there anyone here who I could WhatsApp or email the file to please?

low oil level due to no oil filler cap?

 

Just stopped at camp site will check on half hour when settled although temperature was fine ?

 

As a first quick step, check your engine oil level.

 

Just checked, oil is fine :-/

 

Gutted as trip down was perfect

 

is it a knocking that increases with engine revs?

 

Panic over - it was the coil rattling against the fan shroud - must have come loose somehow - I did what Barn said and let it cool down and when I restarted it because the engine was cold and shaking about more, it was far more obvious ! Thanks Guys
