Live terminal on coil?

    Hi.

    Can someone please, with a diagram or pic, point out which is the switched live terminal...

    I need to piggy back the positive cable from the split charge relay to it.

  2. Should have a + sign cast into the plastic/bakelite top ??

  3. It’s the one with the black lead going to it, labelled + or 15. But...you need to connect the split charge relay coil to the alternator light output, not the coil, so ir’s only energised when the engine’s running. Otherwise, you could be powering the starter from the leisure battery.

  5. If you've got an alt, it's the tab terminal sticking up from the top of the alt. Should have a blue(?) wire attached, which drives the alternator light on the dash.

  6. If you have a voltage regulator on the firewall like on mine it's the thin blue wire. You can splice the relay into this, I haven't got one to hand but a quick search on here should bring up a wiring diagram:thumbsup:
