  1. hi all,

I've had the blue bay for a couple of years now and spent most of that time working on her but not driving it. with a fresh scooby conversion in over winter I am looking forward to getting out camping in her this year as much as possible.

  8. Nice, do you have the rad mounted up front behind the Brazilian front grille?

  9. Not any more, I need to get the front end changed back to standard. And change the wheels!

  10. Porsche wheels and adapters should sell well. And the front grill will sell well to the right person. Pretty hard to get in the UK I believe

  11. Sales pitch sorted already it has 944 disc brakes and hubs at the front and golf gti rear brakes and unsure what rear hubs are.

  12. Ooooooo

  13. Why not keep the brakes if they work ok and put Porsche 356 wheels on. Look more like standard steel wheels and are 5x130

Rears will probably be using a bracket for the caliper with a machined down drive flange and then an adpator from 5x112 to 5x130. (All guessing of course)

  14. You read my mind. :)

  15. Did it used to have the rad up front?
And if so do you have any pics of the install?

  16. Yes it did have the rad in the front but it didn't work properly. Have tried looking for pics I took when I removed it but can't find them.

It had a water in and return pipes all the way to the engine and used a filler tank inside the top of the dash board. Nightmare to get air out of the system when refilling the coolant.

  17. Took some more pics tonight of the interior. :)
