You can get them, maybe someone like Alan Schofield may sell them. Failing that get some lengths of tube and weld them in place?

I'm certain one of the guys on here has bought some, you may have to post a thread or a search may come up with something.

    Good luck :)

I replaced the brake line tubes on ours. Just got some suitable tubing from my local metal shop and flared the ends slightly. Easily bent to match the originals and then tacked in place. Think I got stainless too.

Another good week of progress has passed by.

All of the floor underneath / chassis rails / crossmembers and the cab floor side of things has been cleaned down now, Vactan treated and covered with a couple of coats of red oxide primer.
The chassis itself, where possible, has had the original paint left and simply keyed so the primer takes. It has also had a libral coat of Spencer Coatings chassis black, looks much better!

This area had some good underseal applied and, on a test patch, appeared not to need much attention plus its under the pedal box cover. It will get a good coat of waxoyl.

Up front, the chassis rails have been coloured to match the wheelarches..looking good :)

Next week, prepare to apply the Dinitrol 447 and get the underneath protected properly, same as Gusbus!

    cracked on this week.

The underneath is now fully coated in Dinitrol 447 underbody sealant, a coat of Dinitrol ML on the front half of the chassis (will finish off next week) and the front end, under the pedal belly pan has been waxoyled.

Pedal belly pan repainted & refitted

Next, turn the bus round and finish Dinitroling the rear of the chassis, down the sill channels and rear of the chassis & from memory, we have the left hand battery tray underside to stonechip.

Not long before Major comes home :D

  11. Nice work keep at it. It’s very inspiring to se all this progress. Makes you want to go the extra mile on you’re own restoration.

    Certainly is!

I’m gonna need ladders to climb on when fitting ours, it’s much taller than I am
