    Its most definitely a Rat Alex ..we get loads of voles and this was 10 times the size , its not the first rat we've had but the biggest , the cats more fur than muscle and I reckon it did well to catch it...good job we'd shut the utility room door else I reckon my daughter would have woke up with it on her bed :)
