We'll all end up working for Amazon, getting paid in redeemable vouchers. What little money we have will be spent in Poundland or B&M. What a bleak outlook..................
I'm developing a pathological dislike for electric cars. As a petrolhead the sound of a car is important to me, today on the A1 a BMW I8 shot past me BUT there was no noise - I might as well have been overtaken by a Transit. It was a beautiful looking thing but if it had been a Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren etc I would have wound down the window and wet myself listening to the howling exhaust note. Same as bikes, get an inline 4 Jap, rip off the stock exhaust and stick on a Piper or Harris or Yoshi 4 into 1, why - THE NOISE!
Don't worry @Fruitcake once the motor companies have bled the public of electric car money under this second false flag of environmentalism (diesel being the first) they'll focus on hydrogen power because that is far greener, then they'll have false flag #3 being the hydrogen fuel cell which will meet it's end along with batteries when the focus comes off just purely greenhouse gases and onto total environmental impact..... and then someone will finally admit the greenest thing to do is run the good old internal combustion engine on hydrogen I mean yeah they know this already but there's two rounds of money to milk from the populous before they actually say it
This is already the reality in Dunstable. Amazon is already about the biggest employer in the town and we are about to get the largest Lidl warehouse in Europe built. You can’t move for 40ft lorries.
Not heard a thing back from them. Hope their conversions are more efficient than their correspondence....................
