All, My name is Pete me and the wife have just brought a 75 called Bluebell took 6 months of looking to find the right one. Im 6'3" so need extra head room. Already had a breakdown and sorted it thanks to latebay. Got some welding to do and looks like I will need to pull the engine to sort out an oil leak that I cant find. Then I can worry about re-spray interior etc etc. For now we have just had a few day trips to the beach. She turns heads everywhere and is a lot of fun to drive. Can someone tell me is she a Devon Moonraker? as I'm really not to sure. Few pics attached you can see not the greatest condition but at least its honest (and cheap) a lot we looked at where freshly painted but full of filler. Thanks Pete
Hello from Kent too! Only the finest TLB members come from down South. I have a Moonraker and that isn't one. If @Lord Congi says it's a dormobile then it is. Looks great and nothing that some TLC won't fix.
Welcome aboard, better to see any issues and pay accordingly than overpriced bodged repairs ,well done sir I personally love a dormobile.
Thanks for letting me know its a dormobile seller told me it was a devon. at least I can buy the right bits for it now. does anyone know what colour blue she is? iv borrowed an air compresser so want to get cracking with some body work repairs but need to order some paint first. one last newbie questions is it a bus, van, bay or camper?? most seem to call theirs a bus i'm guessing it really doesn't matter but would rather check.
