Hi Thanks for accepting me to the group! I have just got my first T2 which has fulfilled a long long dream of mine. I am now the proud owner of a 1979 Devon Moonraker. It's in pretty good order but I would like to change the pop top fabric in the near future so any recommendations would be grateful received. I am going to the German classic car show in Orsett on the 16th with the camper for my first show and shine!

Hi from Southend. There are lots of meets and shows in our area during the year. There is one this Sunday starting at 10.30 at Thundersley council office and driving to the 'Old Garrison' pub in Shoeburyness for a meet up of fellow dubbers. Another meet on Sunday 24th September as a open day at Harry Harpics new venue at Fambridge near Rochford, (check out his web site). Elemental vw weekend is usually the first one of the year in March. Sorry cannot make any of these but hope you like your first show.

There is sx vdub club monthly meet in Brentwood, volks dine monthly meet colchester, spliterz monthly in chelmsford and an Essex v dubbers club in essex Grill and chill is quite good same weekend as Orsett i think
I will have a look and see if I can find details of those club meets. Thanks for the list! You have to be careful which crabs you catch on the island 
Pretty much falling out the top of the bucket so we stopped, just off the rocks, we where pulling up 7 or 8 at a time using the end of a sausage out the chippy that I chewed and spat in the bag. Previous record was 2, that was in Frinton
